Plate Heat Exchangers, Separators and Screw Pumps

A Heat exchangers
  Alfa Laval has the world's broadest range of compact heat exchangers for use in heating, cooling, evaporation and condensation. These heat exchangers include a comprehensive selection of traditional heat exchangers as well as product innovations specially developed for niche industries. All Alfa Laval heat exchangers have the characteristics of compactness, high thermal efficiency and low operating and maintenance costs.
   
B Gasketed heat exchangers
  The gasketed plate heat exchanger is the most compact and efficient heat transfer solution for a wide variety of applications in practically all industries. Built up from a series of corrugated plates where channels are formed between the plates, the largest surface area possible for heat transfer to take place is achieved. The plates are fitted with a gasket, which seals the inter-plate channel and directs the fluids into alternating channels, ensuring the two media never mix
 
   
C Brazed heat exchangers
  Compact, durable, and cost-effective heat exchanger (BHE). The thin corrugated stainless steel plates, brazed together with copper, forms a solid, self-contained unit that handles both high pressures and high temperatures.
Alfa Laval invented the first BHE in the 1970s and has since then made further developments to optimise its performance. Today, we set the standard for brazed heat exchangers worldwide
 
   
D Centrifugal Separator
  The need to separate different liquid phases and solids from each other is part of practically every industrial process. Alfa Laval has more than one hundred and twenty years of experience in meeting this requirement using either decanter or disc stack centrifuge technology, and our products perform this crucial function exceptionally well.
The product range is based on disc stack centrifuges and decanter centrifuges for separating liquids from each other or for removing solid particles from liquids. We have based upon requirements, either self cleaning type or manual cleaning type separators in both loose and module supply and in varying sizes depending upon capacity.
Eg: Emmie 2 - manual cleaning type separator on trolley for small flow, OCM - Oil Cleaning Module for large flow
 
   
E IMO Pumps
  IMO AB produced the world's first multiple screw pump and is today a world leader in pumps for fuel handling such as booster, oil transfer, purifier / feed and lubrication systems. These are positive displacement type 3 screw pumps used for viscous fluids for various low, medium and high pressure applications
Although IMO AB first started producing lubrication pumps primarily for general general industry, customers quickly realized that IMO AB pumps were also well suited for other applications. Building on this strong foundation, IMO AB has established a name for itself within other industries such as marine and power generation. IMO AB pumps can be used in a wide range of applications such as oil transfer, fuel handling, lubrication as well as the hydraulics in propulsion systems.
